My Pantry Staples

My main rule when stocking our pantry is to ALWAYS check labels/ingredients. People are easily fooled by labels saying products are “natural” or “healthy,” or are often surprised to learn they’re consuming something with tons of added, unnatural sweeteners – so make sure you’re really reading those labels to makes sure you’re buying exactly what you want!

These are staples, so obviously there’s some additions/variation depending on the season or what we’re currently enjoying the most.

Sweet

  • Flours/grains/powders
    • Almond flour
    • Banana flour
    • Buckwheat flour
    • Chickpea flour
    • Coconut flour
    • Ground flaxseed
    • Protein powder – my favorite is Sunwarrior
    • Whole grain gluten free rolled oats

    • Raw, natural almond or peanut butter
    • Unsweetened almond milk
    • Unsweetened cocoa powder

Savory

    • Mushrooms
    • Red onion
    • Spinach/dark greens

    • Sweet potatoes
