Creamy and sweet, this vegan strawberry banana smoothie is made with just 3 healthy ingredients! The perfect snack on a hot summer day.
Happy Monday, friends! We’re all moved in to our brand new home! After a full weekend of moving and unpacking, I can say this – moving is HARD. Like, oh my goodness did I underestimate how much time/work it would be. On Saturday I literally felt like I worked out like 7 times. And we don’t even have that much stuff!
Fortunately my parents came up from Columbus to help and just went to work immediately when they got here, and we’re just about done. All that’s left is just little organizing things, but everything is here and it looks AMAZING. I’m still pinching myself, I’m absolutely, completely in love with how everything came together. I legitimately feel like I’m living in an HGTV magazine – definitely hasn’t sunk in that it’s our home.
So, today I’m feeling blessed beyond belief, and SO nervous to touch anything in my perfect, clean, brand new kitchen! I know I just need to suck it up and start using things (baking first on the list, obviously!), but I want to revel in the newness of it all just a little longer. So, let’s have smoothies, and all we’ll need is a blender. I’m also a little exhausted from moving, so I’ll keep things short and sweet today, like the ingredient list for this smoothie!
Smoothies are so dreamy. Perfectly sweet, creamy, and what could be better for cooling off on a hot summer day? Since plenty of those days are coming, I know this vegan strawberry banana smoothie will definitely be a daily thing at our house.
The best part about smoothies is how easy they are to throw together. If you have frozen bananas, strawberries, and almond milk, you can have this pretty pink dream in about 2 minutes. I’m picturing it now, being absolutely STARVING after a day out at the pool, this vegan strawberry banana smoothie will definitely be my go to for a quick, healthy, sweet snack.
I love my smoothies really thick, but depending on your blender, you may need more/less almond milk to get everything to come together. I started with 1 cup, but you may need more. You can also add more/less depending on whether you prefer a thicker or thinner texture!
This smoothie is just what you need all summer when you get a craving for a sweet, simple, snack! It’s also great for breakfast, and of course you can add any additional toppings, or throw in some spinach or nut butter for something a little more filling. This vegan strawberry banana smoothie is one of my favorite fruit combinations (but if you’re feeling tropical, try this!), and it’s almost TOO easy.
Hope your week is as great as this smoothie is pink. 🙂
