This vegan peanut butter and jelly oatmeal bowl is the perfect way to start your day! The irresistible combination of sweet and salty PB with tart fruity jam is amazing every time. This bowl is full of nutritious ingredients, totally gluten free and naturally sweet!
In honor of only having 3 days of teaching kindergarten left, let’s eat a vegan peanut butter and jelly oatmeal bowl and reminisce on childhood, shall we?
You guys know I am forever in love with oats. Here are some dreamy bowls already on this little blog…
All SO easy to throw together, hella nutritious, and super satisfying. I decided to combine my beloved oats with the bomb combo that we all know and love…PB&J.
If you’ve been around and seen any of my other oatmeal bowls, you know the preparation is ridiculously simple but a little different than more traditional ways of cooking oats (which almost always makes them too mushy for me!). Get your oats ready in a bowl, heat up the water, and pour it over the dry oats, then cover.
This allows the oats to soak up the hot water, gaining tons of volume and getting super thick and puffy and all around perfect.
For this vegan peanut butter and jelly oatmeal bowl, the toppings are pretty self-explanatory, right? Plop on some natural PB and your favorite fruit-sweetened jam (no sugar nasties or additives necessary), and prepare to be transported straight back to childhood. Only better, because you don’t have to deal with school drama or homework or mean siblings, AND you have a delicious bowl of oats all to yourself!
This vegan peanut butter and jelly oatmeal is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner! Full of satiating fiber from the oats, healthy PB fats and tons of nutrients from your fruity jam, not only is it amazing for you, it’s seriously fun and so satisfying to eat.
Have a happy, healthy day, friends!
