LET THE PUMPKIN BEGIN.

Or at least the pumpkin spice. Close enough, right? Pumpkin alone doesn’t taste like anything at all, really. Don’t worry, the real stuff will be front and center later this week!

In the meantime, the SPICE that comes with the pumpkin is what it’s all about. So much rich, comforting fall flavor in those magical spices! And when you pair that with almond butter, it’s practically more than this almond butter obsessed girl can handle.

Ingredients for vegan pumpkin spice almond butter

  • Raw almonds: almonds give the nut butter creamy texture and healthy fats.
  • Pumpkin pie spice: these warming spices bring out the fall flavors.

Tips for making vegan pumpkin spice almond butter

  • Be patient. Depending on your food processor/blender, this could take anywhere from 30-50 minutes to get smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides with a spatula a few times, then just be patient! Eventually it will come together and get smooth and creamy.
Vegan Pumpkin Spice Almond Butter

This vegan pumpkin spice almond butter is a super simple recipe to make at home and have on hand all week for a healthy snack. The comforting spices are the best complement to the almond flavor, and with the creamy texture, it’s seriously out of this world.

I will most likely be making approximately 10 batches before fall ends…no shame.

Sara

  1. I have a pumpkin muffin or two in my fridge that are in dire need of something just like this to slather on their bare little fluffy tops! Spiced and creamy and my favorite nut butter of the moment too–hello October 🙂

    1. YES that sounds like perfection, especially with how dreamy your muffins always look already!! Happy October to you too, Natalie! 🙂

  2. I need this stuff in and on EVERYTHING. Cannot believe how simple and perfect this looks!

    1. I couldn’t resist the pumpkin spice craze and need it in as much of my food as possible this time of year, haha. Thanks so much, Karly!

  3. Mmmmm, I love everything pumpkin spice Sara! So much that I use it year round, haha. This looks amazing and delicious, yet so simple. One of my favorite nut butters to make is a ginger spice one but I’ve never tried pumpkin spice, that is a great idea. The texture looks so perfect too….super smooth!

    1. I have to admit I definitely use pumpkin puree year round, too! The only change for me is it’s just harder to get this time of year, haha. This one is super simple, but oh my goodness now that you mention ginger that sounds amazing, especially for Christmas time!! Hope you’re having a great week, Brandi 🙂
