I scream, you scream, we all scream for vegan black raspberry chip protein nice cream! After taking a deep breath of course, because that’s a long title.
First of all, I’m from Ohio, if you’re a newcomer and didn’t know (also, HI, so happy you’re here!). Ohio is pretty great, other than the freaking cold winters – DIE, winter. Anyway, Ohio State is obviously what comes to mind first. Buckeye for life, baby.
The second best thing about Ohio? Graeter’s ice cream. Or at least, that’s what 12 year old Sara will tell you. The Graeter’s I always went to with my family had a play place, like, Mcdonald’s style, only classy. Picture a banana split seesaw (I KNOW), two big slides, and a MASSIVE cone of black raspberry chip ice cream (like, twenty feet tall), with a tunnel cut out so you could literally run through the ice cream cone.
It was every child’s version of heaven. A place to eat ice cream then sprint around until you were tired, or probably until you were feeling sick from eating ice cream then proceeding to run around like a psycho in an ice cream wonderland.
Play place aside, Graeter’s is super well known for their incredible ice cream. They have tons of really classic flavors, but I think they’re definitely known most for their black raspberry chip. A sweet, creamy, fruity ice cream with chunks of chocolate the size of your face.
Fortunately for my health, I don’t frequent Graeter’s anymore. BUT also fortunately for my health, I now have this vegan black raspberry chip protein nice cream.
This luscious bowl of purple beauty is made with just 4 ingredients. As always, hooray for easy! Simply blend frozen berries, almond milk, and Sunwarrior protein.
Sunwarrior has been my favorite brand of protein for years. Ever since I went plant-based, I’ve NEVER found any other plant protein powder that comes even close in flavor, texture, and quality of ingredients. I always go with the warrior blend, which is raw and has a ton of high quality plant protein, and it’s sweetened naturally with stevia. No artificial, unhealthy ingredients here!
I use Sunwarrior protein as a main ingredient in the most popular recipe on my blog! I used it most recently in these protein bars (they taste like peanut butter cups!), but also use it regularly in pancakes, waffles, these mini cuties, and no bake bites.
That’s one of my favorite things about Sunwarrior. It’s slightly sweet, and as a result it’s quite easily incorporated into most dessert recipes. It bakes well, but is also really delicious raw – my breakfast before school during the week is the chocolate protein with bananas, and it never disappoints. Also, NOTHING is worse than being hungry approximately 3 minutes after you eat. Sunwarrior always keeps me satiated until my next meal, and the chocolatey flavor is just a bonus!

This recipe comes together in seconds in your blender, so all you’re left to do is stir in massive chunks of dairy free, unsweetened chocolate to balance out all the sweet fruity goodness.
